According to Tom Haudricourt over at
JSOnline.com, the Brewers have signed Jeff Weaver to an
“incentive laden deal”. Jeff Weaver? The guy with a 7-13
record and a 6.20 ERA with the Mariners last season? After a
season at 8-14 with a 5.76 ERA between Los Angeles and
St.Louis? I guess I will have to trust Doug Melvin on this
one, but Jeff Weaver? Was Ronald McDonald not available?
